PRODUCT PURPOSE

HER+ Turmeric Soap is a daily skincare bar formulated for women who want to support brighter, more even-toned skin on the body and face. It uses traditional brightening ingredients in a gentle, plant-based formula safe for daily use.

This product is not a bleaching product. It does not contain hydroquinone or skin-lightening drugs. It is not a medical treatment for any skin condition. It is a daily skincare bar that supports a brighter, smoother skin appearance over time with consistent use.

For severe hyperpigmentation, melasma, or other persistent skin conditions, consult a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and care.


KEY INGREDIENTS

Turmeric Extract (Curcumin) — A traditional brightening botanical with antioxidant properties used in skincare for centuries.

Kojic Acid — A plant-derived ingredient (originally from Japanese rice fermentation) that supports the appearance of even skin tone.

Vitamin C — Brightens the skin and supports overall radiance.

Coconut Oil and Shea Butter — Moisturize and protect the skin barrier so the bar doesn't strip the skin.

Glycerin — A humectant that draws moisture into the skin.

Plant-Based Soap Base — Gentle, sulfate-free, biodegradable.

HOW TO USE

1. Wet the skin with warm water.
2. Lather the bar between your hands or directly on the body. For face: lather in your hands first, then apply to the face — do not rub the bar directly on facial skin.
3. Massage gently into the skin for 30 to 60 seconds. Avoid the eye area.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pat dry with a clean towel.
5. Follow with a moisturizer.

Use daily on the body, 2 to 3 times per week on the face. Patch test before first full face use. Allow 4 to 8 weeks for visible improvement in skin tone evenness.

For best results, apply sunscreen daily. Brightening ingredients can increase sun sensitivity.


POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Most skin types tolerate HER+ Turmeric Soap well. Mild and temporary effects can include:

— Slight yellow tint to skin or washcloth (washes away easily; this is normal for turmeric and not a stain)
— Brief tingling on first use
— Mild dryness if used too frequently on the face
— Brief skin "purging" in the first 1 to 2 weeks while skin adjusts

Less common reactions:

— Allergic reaction to turmeric, kojic acid, or another ingredient (rash, redness, itching, swelling)
— Persistent irritation or peeling
— Increased sun sensitivity in treated areas

Discontinue use immediately if you experience persistent irritation, swelling, or peeling, and consult your healthcare provider.


WARNINGS

— For external use only. Do not ingest.
— Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly with cool water if contact occurs.
— Do not use on broken, cut, sunburned, or actively inflamed skin.
— Patch test on inner forearm before first full face use, especially if you have sensitive skin.
— Apply sunscreen daily to any areas exposed to sunlight. Brightening ingredients can increase sun sensitivity.
— If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, review the ingredient list with your healthcare provider before use.
— If you have a skin condition (eczema, rosacea, severe acne), consult your dermatologist before use.
— Not for use on children under 18.
— May temporarily stain light-colored fabrics or grout — rinse skin and washcloth thoroughly.


IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS

— Store dry between uses (in a draining soap dish) to extend the bar's life.
— Replace the bar if it changes color, smell, or texture significantly.
— Do not share with others.
